Yusrah Kaudeer (Amherst College)

I was lost and without guidance at some point during my college search. I had no idea what to do. Then came the light through the tunnel: I talked to dear Madame Mahadoo. She was encouraging throughout the process, and pushed me to bring out the best in me. The application process was indeed very bulky and hectic, with many highs and lows, and I constantly had endless questions, but she always had my back. Today, I am forever grateful that I got into several schools in the US—two of them with a full ride. She did everything in her capacity to help me achieve my dream of studying in the US.
Amherst College, here I come!
